My approach to website design is the same as any other design project, and as such it is successful because it adheres to the same basic principles: it requires an understanding of the business, a researched and meaningful concept, and a professional execution with the user’s experience in mind.

Unfortunately many ‘Web Design’ firms don’t consider the end-user, or bother with a design concept at all – this is apparent with IT-lead firms and their functional, if untidy sites. This is doubly so for design firms who will offer a cheap website, but are unable to produce a suitable logo citing them as ‘different disciplines’ when they are patently connected through mutual goals and concept-driven processes.

My sites consider the visitor’s experience, legibility of the content, ease of use without over-reliance on technology, and future expansion – as well as having a meaningful design concept.
